Cast Iron Electrodes
VJ CAST low heat input electrode for welding cast iron where machinabilty is not prime consideration. The electrode should be preferred when a strong and rigid joints is to be obtained between two cast iron parts and also suitable for joining difficults to weld cast iron.joining cast iron to carbon or low alloy steel for reclamation and repair of foundry defects, damaged or cracked casting. Also suitable for welding rusty, corroded, dirty, greasy and oil soaked casting.
Chemical Composition
VJ CAST FeNi is a low heat input electrode ideal for welding cast iron and nickel-copper alloys, offering a strong, ductile, and easily machinable weld deposit. It is suitable for repairing grey and nodular cast iron, filling cavities, rebuilding worn surfaces, and welding Monel to itself or to stainless and carbon steels. Typical applications include the repair of gear teeth, pump impellers, housings, compressors, valves, and gearboxes.
Chemical Composition
VJ CAST Ni
A medium coated pure Nickel type electrode. Theelectrode displays a smooth and stable arcThe electrode produces crack-free machinable welds on cast irons. For joining of cast iron to kild steel, repairing of damaged casting, foundry castings etc.
